Shelter Program Director



Major Functions:

Samaritan Village is seeking a Program Director to manage and oversee the operation of the program
and facility in accordance with contract, sponsor, and oversight entity regulations and requirements.

Interviews are currently being scheduled for the position of Program Director. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

  • Communicates all aspects of contract requirements to staff
  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision to all levels of staff
  • Coordinates and supervises activities of direct reporting staff
  • Provides direct supervision of the Director of Social Services, Shift Operations, Managers, and Administrative Assistant
  • Provides direct supervision of the Building Services Coordinator
  • Monitors and oversees the condition and safety of the building and grounds
  • Ensures that all families/individuals receive appropriate on site and off site services
  • Monitors and controls ongoing expenses to assure compliance with the annual operating budget
  • Ensures that all goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met
  • Generates reports and information as required by executive management and sponsor agency
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as determined by the Program Executive


Job Requirements:

  • Masters degree and five years managerial experience preferred. Bachelors Degree and eight years experience will be accepted
  • Knowledge of CARES a plus
