Intensive Residential Treatment

Samaritan Daytop Village designed residential treatment services to meet the specific needs of adults with chronic substance use histories. Our treatment programs provide intensive, highly structured treatment environments using the principles of the therapeutic community model as their foundation.

Through the combination of counseling, and self and mutual help, program participants have daily opportunities to develop new, prosocial attitudes and behaviors. Samaritan Daytop Village offers an expansive array of treatment services, including group and individual addiction-focused counseling, primary and mental health care, education, training and employment services, family reunification and housing assistance. Our motivational counseling approach instills a value for personal excellence, achievement of recovery and connection to the community. Samaritan Daytop Village's intensive Residential Treatment programs have a proven record of successful outcomes.

Within our residential treatment division there are specialty programs designed to treat veterans or parenting or pregant mothers, or provide medically-assisted treatment to individuals dependent on heroin and other opiates.
